R. Kelly, Joe, Kelly Price, Britney Spears, Charlie Wilson and Jennifer Lopez:  These are just a few of the individuals that have attained musical success courtesy of this extremely talented individual - Kendall Nesbitt.

Kendall was born and raised in an area commonly called K-Town on the west side of Chicago. Recognizing a talent in him that could not be ignored, Kendall’s grandfather bought him his first pair of drumsticks, and placed him in front of his first set of keys.

Kendall’s professional debut occurred at the age of 16 when he shared the stage with comedian/actor Bernie Mac as his pianist.  His talents have given him the opportunity to travel and open for many greats such as Jerry Butler and Earth Wind and Fire.  Not diverting from his Gospel roots, he has also opened up or played with gospel greats; Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond and Donnie McClurkin, just to name a few.

Though an accomplished drummer, Kendall’s unprecedented talent as a pianist earned him the nickname – “Piano Man.”  When Kendall was 17 years old, he met and auditioned for R&B artist, R. Kelly.  Impressed, R. Kelly hired Kendall as staff producer for his company.  To date, Kendall has assisted in completing nine platinum and multi platinum albums with R. Kelly, as well as a number of major soundtracks and collaborations with other artists, lending his skills as a keyboardist, background vocalist, drum programmer, arranger, and vocal producer.

Kendall has gone on to position himself in the industry as a melodic hit-making genius.  Currently, Kendall is working on several projects with artist such as Tyrese, Olivia (of G-unit), KD Aubert (model and actress), Glenn Lewis and Jeff Timmons (of 98 Degrees).  Kendall also appears on R.Kelly’s “Light It Up” tour DVD and “Trapped In the Closet Chapters 13-22” (he’s on the organ in the church scene).  Acknowledged by Olivia on her YouTube interview with Carlos King, Kendall was named among other greats; Rodney Jerkins, Missy Elliot, and Brian Michael Cox.  He also has a song he wrote, produced and sang on in rotation on WNUA 95.5 “Sounds of Brazil” entitled Summer Nights from the Sushi Samba Presents Sugarcane Music Vol. 1 project.

In addition to being R. Kelly’s Musical Director on several world tours, Kendall has co-written with Rob, Jay-Z, Britney Spears, Joe and Tomi.  Kendall is a Staff Producer at the studios of Rosehip Records and has leant his formidable talents and skills to numerous projects on the labels roster.  Tracking for his debut CD as a solo artist is completed and is currently being mixed and mastered.
